A wee trip to the Sands of Sound in Lerwick produced this image. I secretly like to get even just one shot of the places I visit so this was the one. I like the way the wind had swept the sand into little waves. I added a texture to the image.

A busy Victoria Pier in Lerwick at this time of year. There are cruise ships anchored off too. My daughter, Victoria, took me over to Burra on a very nice day. Knowing how much I like daisies she said there was a field of daisies nearby. There were also Shetland ponies and a close up of munching ponies is a must. Oh, those noses and daisies!
I watch many reaction videos on Youtube and I'm introduced to singers I would never otherwise have thought to listen to. Some I have previously judged on a thumbnail photo and turned away from. Never again - all are at least worth giving a few minutes of your time to. What have I been missing all this time!? This is one of those binge watch performances. Here's the link.
Gabriel Henrique singing Stand Up. Click on song title for Youtube video.
This photo was taken from the top of the stones which slope a good way down to the sea. This is why the sea is out of focus but, as the song goes, "I Like It That Way".
.....to Papil, Burra and another nice beach. I made a poor job of taking photos but managed to glean these few from the many I took. Found out later that I had the camera on continuous tracking so it wasn't focusing on my preferred position in the image. I live but don't always learn. Levenwick Beach is another lovely spot in Shetland. It was very windy but it was blowing towards the sea so the waves were quite small. It was a nice change for us to be in the village where my father was born.
